Texas Water Canna

Canna glauca (Water Canna or Maraca Amarilla) is a striking wetland perennial native to the marshes and swamps of coastal Texas and Louisiana. Its bold, upright habit and soft butter-yellow blooms bring a tropical touch to pond edges, rain gardens, or any consistently wet area. With lush, light green foliage and blooms from spring through fall, it adds height and drama to wetland plantings. This canna also supports local biodiversity as a host plant for the Brazilian skipper butterfly.
